John Walker B.Ed, M.A., MIMC, LEADR is a skilled behavioural science consultant with over twenty years of international experience. His work is based on the capabilities, commitments and values developed during his early years of consulting to the iconic Royal Canadian Mounted Police at both operational and executive levels. These capabilities have significant currency and application in the public and private sector, none the least of which is a commitment to integrity, compassion, pragmatism and results.

Our associates are skilled in organisational behaviour, human resource management, strategic management and psychology. They are highly qualified professionals with strong consulting and academic experience backed up by years of research. They include:

Dr. Steven Segal, PhD, is both an internationally acclaimed academic and consultant. As an academic he has a broad range of teaching and research interests, which include organisational behaviour, psychology of management and philosophy of management. He has published widely in international and national journals.

He began his consultancy practice as a psychologist, and now works as a coach to executives and consultants in the area of organisational change, helping organisations deal with the emotional and non-rational dimensions of change. He has a special interest in helping managers link the mindset and practices of "innovation" with the demands and pressures of management.

Steven is Director of Business Feel Pty Ltd, a company that develops and runs courses, coaches and conducts training sessions on business feel for corporate and other organisational clients. His book 'Business Feel' has been published by Palgrave in the UK (see John’s Blog (internal hyperlink) for details).

Steven is also John Walker's supervisor for a PhD program at Macquarie University Graduate School of Management (MGSM).

Ted van Bronswijk

Ted is a highly experienced Master who holds Master 1 Unlimited Australian and British Certificates of Competency. He has local knowledge exemptions for Sydney Harbour, Port Botany and Port Kembla. After 18 years of deep-sea command his recent seagoing experience includes significant maritime projects including:

• Towage of HMS Nottingham after a serious grounding
• International deliveries of tugs in Asian waters and between distant ports around Australia
• Estuarine navigation projects involving 300 tonne barges, long river transits and as Master if Sydney ferries Jetcat evacuated people from bush fire ravaged communities
• Key organiser in the inter agency safety exercises "What if's: a seminar focusing on hypothetical high-risk situations in Sydney Ports

Ted is also Sydney Branch Master of the Company of Master Mariners and is nominated for Deputy Federal Master. He is the Company representative on the CMMA/Walker Wilson projects. Ted is also the sole proprietor if Aspect Marine Services a consultancy specialising in shallow water navigation and maritime safety. He is presently a senior Master with Svitzer Australia.

Stefanie Mueller

Stefanie is our administration associate responsible for all the team management profile (TMS) project administration and business development. Stefanie is originally from Germany and moved to Australia in 2005. She has finished her Bachelor degree in International Communications at Macquarie University and has now started her Double Master in International Communications / International Relations. Before joining Walker Wilson Associates Stefanie has worked as a PR / Marketing Assistant for a corporate training company and as a Personal Assistant to the Director of an international development consultancy.

Donna Lawrence

Donna is the Marketing Director of William Dance Consulting, a boutique marketing communications company that has a reputation for delivering results for professional services firms and travel companies. Donna consults to Walker Wilson Associates on our communication strategies and shows clear signs of being a Thruster-Organiser in accordance with her Team Management Profile.
