Principal ~ Who's who in Walker Wilson?

John Walker B.Ed, M.A., CMC, LEADR is a skilled behavioural science and organisational consultant with over twenty years of international experience. His work is based on the capabilities, commitments and values developed during his early years of consulting to the iconic Royal Canadian Mounted Police at both operational and executive levels.These capabilities have significant currency and application in the public and private sector, none the least of which is a commitment to integrity, compassion, pragmatism and results. John is personally committed to life long learning.

Our associates are skilled in organisational behaviour, human resource management, strategic management and psychology. They are highly qualified professionals with strong consulting and academic experience backed up by years of research. They include:


Francis A Buttle , PhD, FCIM, Dr. Francis Buttle has 40 years of international experience as a consultant, educator, researcher and practitioner of marketing and customer relationship management. He is an Honorary Adjunct Professor of Management at Macquarie Graduate School of Management, in Sydney, Australia and is the Founder and Principal of Francis Buttle & Associates. He has consulted for over 70 organisations in private, public and non-profit sectors, and has published well over 300 items including 12 books and about 160 peer-refereed journal and conference papers. His latest book is the third editions of “Customer Relationship Management: Concepts and Technologies”. He is an elected Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.

 

David Care

David is a former Chief Superintendent in the NSW Police Service, and member of the Senior Executive Service. He specializes in workplace grievance and high level complex investigative reviews. He also has had experience at the CEO level managing companies in Australia and China where he was accredited as a 'Foreign Expert'. His experience in corporate leadership, investigation, mediation and negotiation adds considerable depth  to the consulting capabilities of Walker Wilson Associates.

David hold a Diploma in Criminology (University of Sydney) and a Master Private Investigator License. During his time as Illawarra District Commander he Initiated a significant and innovative culture change project with Walker Wilson Associates which resulted in a sustained reduction of complaints against police prior to the Royal Commission. This was a ground breaking project.

 

Ted van Bronswijk

Ted is a highly experienced Master who holds Master 1 Unlimited Australian and British Certificates of Competency. He has local knowledge exemptions for Sydney Harbour, Port Botany and Port Kembla. After 18 years of deep-sea command his recent seagoing experience includes significant maritime projects including:

  • Towage of HMS Nottingham after a serious grounding
  • International deliveries of tugs in Asian waters and between distant ports around Australia
  • Estuarine navigation projects involving 300 tonne barges, long river transits and as Master if Sydney ferries Jetcat evacuated people from bush fire ravaged communities
  • Key organiser in the inter agency safety exercises "What if's: a seminar focusing on hypothetical high-risk situations in Sydney Ports

Ted is the Federal Master of the Company of Master Mariners . He is the Company representative on the CMMA/Walker Wilson projects. Ted is also the sole proprietor if Aspect Marine Services a consultancy specialising in shallow water navigation and maritime safety. He is presently a senior Master with Svitzer Australia.


Maureen Joyce

Maureen is Senior Consultant and Administrator. She comes from a background in adult education, training and administration within RTOs. She has experience in developing learning resources, distance education, assessment validation and RTO compliance. Maureen has a Masters in Adult Education, and a post graduate degree in Computer Managed Learning as well as a Diploma in Business Studies and Administration.
